Weekend Announcer
Texas native Jeremy Reynolds is a writer, editor, musician, and teacher and now the new weekend voice of WRR-FM. A former host with WCNY Classic FM (Syracuse, New York) and the current press and publications manager at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Jeremy is delighted to share his enthusiasm for classical music with the North Texas community.
He recently graduated with a pair of bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Music (clarinet performance) from Oberlin College and Conservatory before pursuing a master’s degree in journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University.
An active freelancer, Jeremy has written about classical music and more for numerous publications including Symphony Magazine, Early Music America Magazine, the Post and Courier and the Syracuse New Times among others. Jeremy has performed with orchestras and chamber music ensembles in concert halls around the U.S., as well as in Israel and Italy. He’s new to the DFW community but hopes to find a performing niche sometime soon.
Outside of music and writing, Jeremy is an avid reader, a devout fitness junkie and a fierce supporter of the arts and culture scene in the DFW area.
