The Unity Orchestra, under the direction of Drew Zaremba, presents a concert that combines the music Bach, Beethoven and Chopin with the rhythmic and harmonic vocabulary of jazz! Our guest artist is one of jazz’s rising stars, pianist and composer Addison Frei.
The Unity Orchestra is a new ensemble that seeks to fill the current jazz orchestral void that exists in the United States. The Unity Orchestra sees no genre, ethnic, or stylistic divide in music, but seeks to promote passion, beauty, and unity through music. Through collaborations with artists of every genre, the Unity Orchestra takes sounds from around the world and reinterprets them to shine light on the undiscovered stories within the music.
