Xiao Wang has been the recipient of numerous awards and prizes in her native China and in the United States including 3rd prize in the Steinway Piano Competition in China, the McElroy Competition. Cliburn Competition for Undergraduates, and Wood Concerto Competition at Brevard. Recently she won the University of North Texas Concerto Competition and performed the Ravel Piano Concerto for the Left Hand with the UNT Symphony Orchestra. She received her undergraduate and master degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Laura Pillman is an accomplished orchestral, solo, and chamber musician who received her MM in Flute Performance from Bowling Green State University (Ohio), and her BM in Flute Performance from Baldwin-Wallace University (Ohio). She is currently completing her DMA degree at the University of North Texas. She won the 2016 Coeur D’Alene Young Artists Competition and performed the Ibert Flute Concerto with the Coeur D’Alene Symphony in March, 2016. At Baldwin-Wallace, her wind quintet won the Ovation award in 2012, with a performance of Nielsen’s Wind Quintet.
Eldred Marshall is a pianist, organist and conductor, having performed and conducted throughout the US and internationally. He has performed the entire cycle of 32 Piano Sonatas of Beethoven as well as all of the Bach Goldberg Variations. He has degrees from Yale in Political Science and from SMU in piano performance, organ and conducting.
