an evening of music that draws heavily upon the great French organ tradition …. these are works that engage the full spectrum of the instrument, including the “Cortege and Litany” by Marcel Dupre, the “Improvisation on Te Deum” by Tournemire and the “Fantasy in C Major” by Cesar Franck. The recital also features “Resurrection,” a work by S. Andrew Lloyd, a composer and organ professor at UNT and Texas Women’s University.
