Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator is a key part of the Programs team that produces, coordinates and delivers the classical music programs, segments and commercials on WRR Classical 101.1 FM, a division of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. This position, which reports to the Programs Manager, is primarily responsible for working with clients, announcers and sales/operations staff to produce and engineer the station’s commercial spots, but is also responsible for assisting with the coordination of the other technical aspects of syndicated, in-house and special programs. The position also works collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing staff and may be involved in events, marketing efforts, and may act as a backup announcer as well. Qualified candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in radio or television production and have the talent and ability to voice and perform commercial copy. On-air experience is highly desirable as is a passion for and knowledge of classical music or related musical format.

Programs and Marketing Manager

The Programs and Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall content vision, direction, execution, and promotion of the classical programming on WRR Classical 101.1 FM, a division of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. This position is responsible for leading and developing announcers and operations staff, managing music logs and syndicated programs, managing the overall sound and quality of the stations' programming, and growing the audience of listeners and attendees at live station events. The position works collaboratively with the Sales and Business staff as well as with the dozens of arts organizations that partner with WRR. Qualified candidate will have a passion for and deep knowledge of classical music or related musical format, marketing and promotions experience, and strong abilities to lead and coach staff members.

Traffic Coordinator

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the overall traffic operations for WRR Classical 101.1 FM, a division of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. Duties will include producing logs, coordinating and maximizing the use of inventory, producing inventory reports and invoicing accounts. This position works collaboratively with programming, sales, marketing and business divisions. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be dependable, and have very good attention to detail. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. Experience with Marketron software is highly desired with a minimum of 2 years' experience in radio traffic operations required. Experience in marketing, website technology, and/or accounts receivable is helpful.
