The Rejebian Review Series: Rosemary Rumbley- The Shape of Texas
Highland Park United Methodist Church,
3300 Mockingbird Lane,
Dallas, TX
Ticket Price: free
Rosemary Rumbley is a favorite among Dallas' senior set. Historian, humorist, author and actress, Rumbley makes more than 300 appearances a year at church groups, community colleges, book review clubs, senior centers and business luncheons. She speaks with authority on dozens of topics: Dallas parks, the history of Oak Cliff, old-time radio, vaudeville, Broadway shows, Sam Houston, Texas' small-town food festivals and many others. She would have preferred to title her program “What Shape is Texas In?” but she didn’t want to end the title with a preposition. For information: or www.hpumc.org
