Orisons Fine Art and Framing Gallery presents original paintings by Kristine Byars, Kim Englishbee, and Barbara Mason. Byars (Wildewood Studio, Dallas) uses bright colors and cropped compositions to give her western imagery a playful edge. In contrast, Englishbee (Studio Englishbee, Sanger) carefully crafts paintings of livestock that draw the viewer into an elegant spaciousness, granting her subject a unique preeminence. Mason (Dragonfly Studio Creations, Frisco) brings detailed focus to this eclectic mix. Her innovative watercolors include a literal cut edge, making her florals dimensional; and her pastels are lush, richly colored close-ups with surprising elements. All three artists are award-winning, and exhibit widely in the DFW metroplex and beyond. Join the gallery in celebrating these three artists. Opening Reception, June 9th (7p-10p) during Second Saturday Art and Music on the Square in historic downtown McKinney.
