Legendary CBS anchorman, Walter Cronkite, was more than just a household name; he was the most trusted man in America. One of the original creators of CBS evening news, Cronkite anchored the world's top stories for nearly two decades. His was the voice that told America that JFK had been assassinated, that a man landed on the moon and that Nixon resigned. Cronkite's biography has been much anticipated since his death in 2009, and Douglas Brinkley is sure not to disappoint. Join the Council on Wednesday, June 13 to hear about Brinkley's journey to find the real Walter Cronkite, from his Texas roots all the way to his status as an eternal media icon.
