Explore the world of JACK AND THE BEANSTALK at campTDO! Join the Dallas Opera for a three-hour interactive workshop that gives youngsters firsthand experience in creating an opera production. Working under the guidance of TDO teaching artists, each campTDO session will conclude with a fully staged performance of JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, featuring TDO teaching artists. Children will participate in musical and visual arts activities revolving around the story of “Jack and the Beanstalk” and learn the building blocks of opera through interactive discussions. campTDO also will instruct children on how to be courteous performance patrons before they experience JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, live and fully staged!
