Both are specialists in baroque music and the early classical style. Hammer will be playing his own early 19th century fortepiano, Ms. Seel, a selection of her period flutes. Hammer, a professor of early music at UNT with an substantial performance, directing and recording career in Germany, will also give a general survey of the history of the fortepiano.
