Denton Bach Society: Auditions

Auditions have been set for the Denton Bach Society’s 2012-2013 season, featuring one of J. S. Bach’s masterworks, the Christmas Oratorio. Experienced choral singers are encouraged to join the Denton Bach Choir, with rehearsals Monday evenings beginning September 10. Auditions will be held from 6–7 pm on two Mondays, September 10 and September 17, and by appointment. Prospective singers are asked to vocalize, to demonstrate basic sight reading skills, and to bring a song or aria of their choice. They may call Henry Gibbons at 940-382-3636 for further information and a specific audition time. Repertoire during the year includes works from other periods and composers. Rehearsals and auditions are held in Flinn Hall, First United Methodist Church, 201 S. Locust, Denton.
