Brahms is known for two contrasting styles of music, and on this concert you'll hear both of them! The first half showcases Brahms' lighter side in Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs), while the second half features the magnificent Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem), the tour de force of the choral repertoire. This wonderful season-ending celebration will mark the 180th anniversary of Brahms' birth--and the 40th anniversary of the Plano Civic Chorus!
