Roberto Díaz, renowned violist and president of the Curtis Institute of Music, will perform with the Meadows Symphony during his week-long residency at the Meadows School in October. He will be guest soloist for the Viola Concerto by Bartok, and perform with acclaimed cellist and Meadows faculty artist Andrés Díaz on Strauss’s symphonic poem Don Quixote. The program also includes Stravinsky’s powerful Requiem Canticles, featuring the Meadows Chorale, the school’s select 30-member chamber choir.
