Hicks Stone, son of Edward Durrell Stone, is the author of the new book Edward Durrell Stone: A Son’s Untold Story of a Legendary Architect. Ed Stone was one of the more controversial figures of 20th century architecture. Both celebrated and scorned, Stone led a life that was simultaneously triumphant and embittered. In his presentation, Hicks Stone will address his father’s body of work that has been largely neglected, if not outright misunderstood.
