See this exhibition in the Carpenter Hall Lobby showcasing 70 original works by award-winning children’s book illustrator and author, David Small. Organized and toured by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature in Abilene. His droll wit shines through his art and writing in books like George Washington's Cows and Fenwick's Suit.  In 2001, he received the Caldecott Medal for So You Want to Be President? written by Judith St. George.  Many of his books have been created in partnership with his wife Sarah Stewart, a native of Texas.
