Brilliant new mezzo-soprano Fabiana Gonzalez, who comes to Dallas from the Yale University program in Early Music, sings the music of Handel, including his Spanish cantata “No se emendera jamas”, as well as her specialty of Spanish Baroque music. Reception following in the Great Hall Gallery featuring photographs by Carolyn Brown, “Painting God’s House: The Folk Baroque Churches of Mexico”, showcasing the multi-hued, tiled and painted church fronts from the central Mexican regions of Puebla and Querétaro.
