Since winning First Prize in the Busoni International Piano Competition, Alexander Shtarkman has been awarded major prizes in prestigious piano competitions including the Tchaikovsky Piano Competition and the Van Cliburn PianoCompetition. Mr. Shtarkman performs extensively in Europe and Asia, South and North America, and Russia where he is a frequent guest performer at the prestigious Great and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatory. Clarinetist, Kimberly Cole Luevano “continually establishes herself as a formidable soloist and chamber musician.” Ms. Cole, whose playing has been described as “breathtaking” “virtuosic,” and “exceptionally sensitive,” joined the University of North Texas faculty in 2011 and is also a member of the clarinet faculty at Interlochen Arts Camp. She has performed solo and chamber concerts, adjudicated, and presented master classes throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America.
