The New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving will feature some of the most romantic music ever written at its Valentine’s concert February 10, part of its annual “Sundays at the Symphony” series. The orchestra will play a suite from Tchaikovsky’s ballet “Swan Lake,” Haydn’s “Surprise” Symphony and Gounod’s Petite Symphony for Winds. At this concert, the orchestra will present its annual Grace Note Awards to four area groups that are encouraging the creation and performance of new music.
