Victor Koszman, a violinist with the Dallas Opera Orchestra, has established the Ihor Koszman Concerts for Hospice through Texas Winds Musical Outreach in memory of his father, who died of cancer in August, 2012. The Koszman Concerts are one-on-one visits offered in hospitals and nursing facilities. They can also be arranged in private homes. In addition to serving as concertmaster for the Dallas Opera Orchestra, the Canadian-born Wang has been guest concertmaster of the Kansas City Symphony. He made his debut with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra at the age of nine and has performed as a soloist with such orchestras as the Czech Radio Philharmonic, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and the I Musici Chamber Orchestra. He plays a violin made in 1700 by Giovanni Tononi and on loan to him from the Canada Council of Arts Fine Instrument Collection. He will be accompanied by award-winning pianist Jenny Cho.
