Collin County Ballet Theatre presents The Nutcracker

Dec. 23 and 24
Monday at 7:30 pm and Tuesday at 12:00 pm

The Nutcracker is a time honored family holiday tradition. Join Clara as she enters a dream world set in motion by the magical nutcracker doll given to her by her Uncle Drosselmeyer. Watch the famous battle between the Toy Soldiers and the Rat King, flurry into the sparkling land of the Snow Queen and her snowflakes, and journey through the realm of the Lemonade Sea Queen into the Land of the Sweets. The Sugar Plum Fairy and the residents of her kingdom will delight you with dances by The Chinese Tea Maidens, The Spanish Chocolate, Arabian Coffee, Merlitons, Russian Trepak, Bakers and Gingerbreads, and the Waltz of the Flowers.
Returning this year as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Sugar Plum Cavalier are incomparable Cuban ballet stars Adiarys Almeida and Taras Dimitro. CCBT is excited to bring back these magnificent talents to light up the Eisemann Center stage once again. All set to extraordinary live orchestration by the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
