Dallas Public Library: soprano Carolyn Lee Jones
Carolyn Lee Jones is a jazz vocalist whose distinctive repertoire includes popular American standards, Broadway show tunes, jazz, and contemporary “retro pop” with a jazz sensibility. Her latest CD, Bon Appétit!, has garnered excellent reviews. Her program here, "Songs From My Mother's Piano Bench," will feature both familiar and lesser-known jazz vocal selections from the 1930s, ‘40s, and 50’s. This concert is free.
